Our members are asked to actively participate in a range of equality-related activities throughout the year, that not only give visibility and voice to minorities in the Aerospace industry but also create a safe space for minority students.
Because we are the Engineers of the near future, it is our responsibility to make it right.

Our Plan
A Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Plan has been developed for the 22/23 academic year. This year, the society is focused on its 3 main Equality Objectives:

Charity
AeroSoc develops a yearly partnership with a charitable non-profit company with a high impact on the local Bristol community.
For the 22/23 academic year, Aerosoc is a proud sponsor of Mind Bristol.
Mind Bristol is a mental health resource for people in Bristol & surrounding areas. They focus on mental wellbeing as well as stigma and discrimination reduction.
Fundraising events throughout the year have been organized and profits will go towards Mind Bristol.
