AeroBall 2023
The 2023 edition of AeroSoc's signature black-tie event, the AeroBall, took place on Friday, 24th of March at The Bristol Hotel, on the harbourside.
The tickets went flying, with the first two releases being sold out within a couple of hours. In total, there were over 200 attendees including AeroSoc members, faculty and teaching staff, plus ones, and other guests.
The ticket prices ranged from £35 to £41 depending on the release, and included a 3-course meal (with vegetarian and vegan options), live music from the Jazz band The Bristol Hornstars and a DJ, a professional photographer and a free photo booth. The venue also had a bar available. Following the event, an afterparty was organised with discounted entry at our partner's venue, Lizard Lounge Clifton.
The event was an opportunity for the committee to reflect on the past year, comment on past successes and potential improvements, and announce the result of the AeroSoc elections for the 2023-2024 committee.
The AeroBall is one of the highlights of the year, where students from all four years, PhDs, lecturers, program directors and faculty members get to mingle in a formal environment. The 2023 edition was extremely successful, so look out for next year's!
